Kia ora, we’re Phil and Cheska
We are super excited to have recently teed up with Hunting HQ as one of their ambassadors – one because we love hunting and two because we run a YouTube channel The Wild Table, dedicated to showcasing all of the incredible ways we can harvest wild food and create wildly delicious meals from these ingredients.
Our goal is to eat predominantly wild meats and fish harvested by our own hands. So, working along side Hunting HQ gifts us a fantastic opportunity to get out there and do what we love; fill our freezer with an array of wild game; adventure and experience new lands; and help be part of improving the management of New Zealands ‘unwanted’ wildlife.
We are going to be sharing all of our hunting HQ adventure in video form. Here is a video from our very first visit to the ‘Blue Mountain’ Hunting block. We take you on tour of the rustic accommodation, show you the terrain and spectacular views, have a korero with Brad the host, visit a stunning private waterfall on the property and of course go for a hunt!
